Love the trim!! Love the product as a whole!
I purchased Smart Tiles but realized I needed a trim piece to finish the open edges due to where I was putting the tiles. I was SO happy to find the Smart Edge item! It makes the Smart Tile in my old bathroom look finished and updated without spending a million dollars! Best of all, I had the whole project done in approximately 3-4 hours! This product is such a great visual pop! Perfect for walls that have many imperfections and you do not want to invest a ton to make things smooth again. Would love to see other Smart Trim SKUs that match other Smart Tile colors, like red, stainless steel, black and white! Thank You Smart Tile!!

I LOVE THESE!!!
I love these tiles! They are so easy to put up, I did it myself, and easy to cut. These look so real my daughter, who used to help a contractor lay tiles, thought from my picture that I had done a wonderful job and looked just like the real ceramic tiles! She had to come see them, and loved the look in person too. I love them so much and even though I put them in my RV since I plan on extensive travel I plan on getting the sand subway tile for around my shower surround. Even in the extreme heat of the RV on the 80 plus days sitting in full sun, they are still holding strong and look just as awesome as the day I put them up a month ago!

Look beautiful
I bought this smart tile a month ago, for the backslash of my kitchen.
I really love how it look now that it is done. I was a little unsure when I one finished one row. It looks a lot better when you cover a space as appose to just one row.
The reason I did not give this product 5 stars was because the grout on the edges of the product were not always even, some pieces had wider excess grout which required me to cut the product down.
As well it would have been nice to have a instellation video just for this pattern, because the hexagon do not have straight sides to match up. Thus it takes a lot longer to install this pattern, as well as a lot more planing.

Transformed My RV Kitchen
We love our new travel trailer but it needed some personality. After looking at Smart Tiles and reading the reviews, I decided to go for it. I was worried because I'm a lot of things but handy isn't one of them. The installation was fairly straightforward but it definitely requires attention to detail and patience to do it right.
There is one very small section that keeps lifting up so I'm going to have to figure out something to do to get it to stay down. Everything else has adhered well, though, and I'm very, very happy with the results. It's amazing how much the tiles, along with some camping-related accessories, transformed the space into something cheerful and homey.

Looks incredible!
These tiles made my van conversion really stand out. If this is your first time using these, be mindful that you have to be extremely careful with making each piece level. Just a slight raise in one tile can lead you to follow that an eventually when you stepback it will be uneven. Fortunately, I learned that lesson the last time I installed these so this one turned out much better. I've found that a good pair of scissors was very accurate for me. The texture of the tiles is great and gives an illusion that these are real, raised tiles. Well done smart tiles and please continue to make more modern designs like this. I am not a fan of most of your designs.

Great product!
I purchased the Smart Tiles for my vintage travel trailer. I originally wanted glass mosaic tiles for my backsplash but realized the trailer wall could not support the weight. I found the Smart Tiles on someone’s blog and thought I would try them. They really worked well! And their very forgiving as far as placement. The only advice I would give someone is to paint the wall a shade similar to the “grout” lines. I was careful but there is one spot where there’s a tiny gap and you can see the white wall behind. It’s not glaring, but I know it’s there. If I had painted the wall gray, like the “grout” lines of the Smart Tile, then you wouldn’t see it at all. I would totally purchase this product again.

Perfect coverup
Moved into an apartment with a hideous brown kitchen backsplash a month ago and immediately started looking for a solution, and found these! Ordered using the calculator on the website (it was a quite generous amount which meant I didn't have to panic about running out), the shipping was quite fast and the installation-once you figure out where to start and which direction to work, is super easy. It took me an afternoon for the whole kitchen. It's amazing how much brighter it looks! While its not as nice a finish texturally as real tile, for $150 and an afternoon, you can't ask for a much better or easier fix for ugly rental tile. I am super pleased I did this!

So beautiful and easy to install!
This is without a doubt the most beautiful home update project I've ever done! (And I once had wallpaper I liked so much, I would have worn it as a dress if I could have!!!) These tiles have a very rich, expensive look to them, and they are so easy to work with. I've bragged about them to everyone I know. In addition, the tile calculator tool is spot on. I ordered the number of tiles recommended and would have had a little more than I needed except my granddaughter and I each lost a sheet of tiles behind the kitchen counters when we were holding them up to see how they'd look!!! I whole-heartedly recommend The Smart Tiles to everyone!

Hi, I’d like to use Smart Tiles to cover a backsplash in our summerhouse, which is not winter proof and the temperatures in the area can go down to -20 degrees Celsius. Will the tiles tolerate such extreme cold without cracking or peeling off?

We do recommend installing the tile indoor ambient room temperature is a minimum 18c (65F) and maximum 35c (95F).
Please ensure that there is no condensation or humidity on the walls with the extreme temperature variation during the installation.
Once the tiles have properly adhered to the surface, usually after 48 hours, the adhesive on the tiles will withstand the temperature of every climate from the cold winters to the warm sunny summers; even your air conditioning.
There is no concern about the cold making the Smart Tiles brand of peel & stick tile fall off as long as all the installation guidelines have been followed.
These tiles are made in Quebec, Canada and we can vouch for the adherence. 😉

Hello! Could I install these directly behind a gas range cooker?
Yes, they are resistant to the heat of a stove. However, if you have a gas stove without a back control panel or metal plate, you must respect a safety zone (without Smart Tiles) of 20 cm (8 in.) above the surface of the stove in order to prevent direct exposure to an open flame and we recommend to install our Smart Panel. For countertop appliances such as toaster ovens, mini ovens and others, keep a space of 6 cm (2 in.) between Smart Tiles and the appliance. It is important to note that some spices with high density pigment color, such as turmeric, can stain the tile permanently.

Hello,Unfortunately Smart Tiles are not designed to be installed on the floors.
The vinyl resin that the tiles are made of will be damaged by constantly walking on them.
Smart Tiles are designed for kitchen or bathroom backsplashes or to do decorative sections on a wall.

Will applying these directly onto existing tiles in a shower lead them to lift due to condensation?
Hello, You can install peel and stick Smart Tiles directly over your existing backsplash, whether it is glass or ceramic provided that your surface is smooth, sleek and without texture. You must also take into consideration the width and depth of your existing grout lines as this might affect the outcome. Please click here for more information about installing Smart Tiles over existing backsplash.
Some shapes of tiles (ex: diamond) have more texture than others. We recommend testing with 1 or 2 Smart Tiles that also have texture before doing the full wall.
* IMPORTANT: For the Oslo models, it is recommended that these be installed exclusively on smooth and sleek surfaces. Due to its size, the tile will tend to show any irregularities in the surface. If the surface is even slightly indented such as with a grout line, you must fill any gaps to ensure a smooth application of the Oslo.It is highly inadvisable to install them where they will be in direct contact with water since they are not water proof tiles. However, since Smart Tiles are resistant to the humidity of bathrooms, you can install them at a height where they will not be in direct and continuous contact with water. If you install them above the shower wall, and the wall is painted gypsum, make sure that the surface is completely dry and not at all damp or else the tiles will not remain adhered to the wall.
For the Norway Bleached Wood and Blok White, it is recommended that these be installed exclusively on a white and smooth and sleek surface. Due to its large size without grout, the tile will tend to show any irregularities and colors of the surface covered.
