Milano Todi (x1)
Milano Todi (x1) is rated out of 5 by 911.
The Milano Todi seems full of Sicilian sun and heat. The imitation of this stone is so realistic that we want to install it in our kitchen to prepare the best pizza dough. Sublime when paired with a black stone countertop, the Milano Todi has everything to become a classic that won’t go out of style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kristyn from Look beautiful I bought this smart tile a month ago, for the backslash of my kitchen. I really love how it look now that it is done. I was a little unsure when I one finished one row. It looks a lot better when you cover a space as appose to just one row. The reason I did not give this product 5 stars was because the grout on the edges of the product were not always even, some pieces had wider excess grout which required me to cut the product down. As well it would have been nice to have a instellation video just for this pattern, because the hexagon do not have straight sides to match up. Thus it takes a lot longer to install this pattern, as well as a lot more planing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kcelmz from Looks incredible! These tiles made my van conversion really stand out. If this is your first time using these, be mindful that you have to be extremely careful with making each piece level. Just a slight raise in one tile can lead you to follow that an eventually when you stepback it will be uneven. Fortunately, I learned that lesson the last time I installed these so this one turned out much better. I've found that a good pair of scissors was very accurate for me. The texture of the tiles is great and gives an illusion that these are real, raised tiles. Well done smart tiles and please continue to make more modern designs like this. I am not a fan of most of your designs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NatalieB from Great product! I purchased the Smart Tiles for my vintage travel trailer. I originally wanted glass mosaic tiles for my backsplash but realized the trailer wall could not support the weight. I found the Smart Tiles on someone’s blog and thought I would try them. They really worked well! And their very forgiving as far as placement. The only advice I would give someone is to paint the wall a shade similar to the “grout” lines. I was careful but there is one spot where there’s a tiny gap and you can see the white wall behind. It’s not glaring, but I know it’s there. If I had painted the wall gray, like the “grout” lines of the Smart Tile, then you wouldn’t see it at all. I would totally purchase this product again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ellietown from Perfect coverup Moved into an apartment with a hideous brown kitchen backsplash a month ago and immediately started looking for a solution, and found these! Ordered using the calculator on the website (it was a quite generous amount which meant I didn't have to panic about running out), the shipping was quite fast and the installation-once you figure out where to start and which direction to work, is super easy. It took me an afternoon for the whole kitchen. It's amazing how much brighter it looks! While its not as nice a finish texturally as real tile, for $150 and an afternoon, you can't ask for a much better or easier fix for ugly rental tile. I am super pleased I did this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by truckeegal from perfect for rv I installed this in our RV around the sink as it was painted wood and I was always concerned about water damage. Its been in 2.5 years (installed 7/2013), standing up to use & temperature variation (-10 F - 105 + F as van parked outside). No peeling, yellowing or anything! Looks as good as the day I put it in. I did seal the bottom between the tile and the counter with clear silicone to prevent water seepage. It is lightweight and flexible. Flexibility is important in a 4x4 RV van, didn't want "tile" as it would pop off and add weight. I misplaced my extra sheet and finally found it, along with the info to this web site so now I'm posting this review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by megarnold from Really looks good I used these as a kitchen backsplash and they look fantastic. The wall was painted yellow, so I did have to go back with a light gray marker to fill in the corners and areas where the wall wasn't level...wish I'd done that first! These do take some time to align evenly, especially the tabs, so give yourself plenty of time. Really go over and press down the seams, the extra care makes a huge difference in the end. I wanted them to make the house more appealing to potential buyers, and I think it will make a difference. I will say, if you're not very experienced with measuring and cutting, order extras. I am considering Smart Tiles for a bathroom update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hrey from Perfect for what we needed! We found the perfect house to rent but the kitchen backsplash was not our taste. We wanted a cheaper option to cover the backsplash without ripping up the tile and redoing it. So I hopped on pinterest and it lead me to here and I’m so happy I did!! I ended up getting 60 of these particular ones since they were on sale for on $.99!! We have about 12 left over and wasted a few sheets from mistakes we made. To take up the tile sheet was too easy so if you mess up and have to reset the tile after you have stuck it on its a breeze! I am so satisfied with our new backsplash and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quick fix without breaking the bank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by chazmataz from A NEAT WAY TO FINISH OFF YOUR SMART TILE ! I chose the dark grey as it seemed to be the right choice to go with the white tile. I installed the edging before installing the last row of tile, using a pencil line to ensure straightness. It is important to make extremely precise measurements so the last tile fits snugly against the edging. If you try to hurry these last steps, you will end up with a sloppy looking job. One thing I noticed with these strips is that the adhesive needs to have pressure applied after placing to ensure good adhesion. This was never a problem with the tile.

Can these be used on a fireplace surround?
Thank you for your interest in Smart Tiles. They are heat resistant up to 49C (120F) however they should be kept at least 8in from an open flame or direct heat source to avoid any damage. We do not suggest installing them on the hearth or floor surrounding as they are made as a decorative backsplash and have not been tested for the constant wear and tear of such an area. The existing surface should be smooth and without texture for optimum adhesion.

I have a knockdown texture paint wall in my kitchen. Will this tile stick to it. or do i have to sand it to smooth surface?
Hello, for this surface. We suggest following these steps: 1. Sand the wall to be smooth and sleek. 2. Paint the wall with a primer, and wait 72 hours to the paint to cure. 3. Clean the wall thoroughly with a degreaser 4. Apply the Smart tile to the freshly prepared surface.

Can I use this product to cover a shower wall? Would you recommend it for continuous contact with water? I'm a renter, and want to upgrade my shower walls with something pretty, but not permanent.
Our peel and stick tiles are resistant to moisture and humidity however they were not designed to be used on shower walls. Direct contact with water over a prolonged period of time may affect the adherence of the product. For the shower area, you may place them at a height were they will not be in contact with the shower flow. Just make sure that the area has been properly cleaned with a degreaser, thoroughly dried and wait at least 48 hours before using the shower to ensure the tile has a chance to properly adhere to the surface.

Can you put these over the shower area?
Hello, thank you for showing interest in the Smart Tiles. It is highly inadvisable to install them where they will be in direct contact with water. However, since Smart Tiles are resistant to the humidity of bathrooms, you can install them at a height where they will not be in direct and continuous contact with water. If you install them above the shower wall, and the wall is painted gypsum, make sure that the surface is completely dry and not at all damp or else the tiles will not remain stuck to the wall.
