Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my back splash I had been wanting a back splash in our kitchen for a long time. We didn't really want to spend a ton of money. We had seen Smart Tiles at Home Depot, but they didn't have too many to chose from or the amount that I needed. I came home and searched on the internet. There are coupons and special savings when you go to their website.. I did order 3 different sample tiles before I made my final decision, which I highly recommend because the actual tiles do look different then what you see online. It took me about 5 hours to complete my kitchen and I purchased 30 tiles. So for around $175, I now have a back splash. I hope the before & after photos help you decide to buy Smart Tiles. I love my new back splash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic I just finished installing this tile on 2 half walls in my bathroom. Tile was easy to cut with straight ruler and I was able to remove and reposition if necessary. I did some custom cuts around the toilet area using the backing paper as a pattern, when I was happy with the fit I placed on top of tile and cut as necessary sometime using scissors; doing this avoided waste. Although I am a 73 year old woman I did this project by myself in 2 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast, easy and look great! My man cave was needing a back splash for the kitchen area but I did not want to deal w/real tile and the mess/work. I opted for the Brina tiles and got a sample before deciding on them. Installation took about 2 1/2 hours including cleaning the current walls w/TSP cleaner (basically removes all grease and also deglosses paint; makes it better for tiles to stick to). Lining them up is easy and cutting them with a utility knife is very easy. See my before and after picks. So far nothing but compliments from guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Update After removing the wallpaper backsplash, we found laminate. Because the current countertops were installed over the previous countertops locking the laminate backsplash in place, we decided to look for an option to go over the laminate. Once we found Smart Tiles, we primed the laminate (it was already painted, so we wanted a clean layer) and waited for the purchase to arrive. The tiles were extremely easy to cut and install with a little patience in getting things to line up. People instantly think it's real tile. The Muretto Durango color and pattern worked wonderfully with the off white countertops and heavily grained cabinets. We've since removed the wallpaper from our laminate backsplash to update our kitchen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smart Tiles stand the test of time - very happy! Eight years ago, I installed Smart Tiles as a backsplash to my kitchen counter. As you can see from the first photo, I ended the tiles where my counter ended. Well, the backsplash looked so good, I decided to extend the backsplash to include the area behind my oven, which was weirdly off by itself. The effect is just what I wanted. It really does bring the whole kitchen together and I couldn't be happier with the look. And remember: I bought the original tiles eight years ago. Not only did Smart Tiles still have the same design, but the original tiles didn't fade or discolor at all - you would never know that my wall was done in two stages so many years apart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great - New Kitchen I am very pleased with this product. I waited over a month to make sure the tiles didn't loose stickiness and start falling off of the wall. I love my new kitchen and all I did was use the smart tiles. (follow directions - degreaser is important and take your time). I actually had fun installing my tiles. Beware the bank will charge a foreign transaction fee; mine was $14.92 because the product is shipped and originally sold in Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install I wanted to put up tiles. But you have to know and have the tools to cut them, which I did not have. I saw this and thought this is perfect for me. All you need is a ruler, box cutter a pen. I love these. They were so easy to install and it looks like real tiles. The plan was to also apply over the ceramic tiles behind the stove. But once I did I did not like how it looked. It was too busy for my liking in my narrow kitchen. So I just pealed it off and left my original tile behind the stove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy! So fast! Brilliant! I was looking for a way to modernize my bland, plain white kitchen ... but I didn't want to spend bookoodles of money. Using Smart Tiles allowed me to stay under budget and I completed the project in less than two hours. The look updated my kitchen and makes me happy every time I pass through the area!

There’s a small number on each tile sheet—how do we remove that?

Asked by: Pianog75
Hello, Thank you for your question. You must overlap the tiles so you won’t see the printed letters. The letters are for manufacturing purposes only. In order to figure out the pattern you would like, we suggest laying out the tiles on the counter before installing them on the wall. Don’t forget to overlap the tiles so you won’t see the printed letters.

How easy is this to remove for renters?

Asked by: Skyla09
Hello, thanks for your question and interest in Smart Tiles for the peel and stick backsplash in a rental apartment. The tiles are easy to remove with a blow dryer if you warm up each peel and stick tile long enough to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Remove with little to no damage to the wall depending on the surface the tiles were installed on. We have more details in the following article: www.thesmarttiles.com/en_us/inspiration/why-peel-and-stick-wall-tiles-are-best-option-for-rental/. I would like to use your tiles for my kitchen and bath backsplashes. The tile will end on flat wall, no edge stop, so that the cut edge of the tile sheet will be visible. What would the cut edge of the tile look like? What could I use to cover the edge?

Hello, thank you for showing interest in the Smart Tiles. We have our Smart Edge product that is designed to complete the look of the tiles and add a finishing touch to your project. https://www.thesmarttiles.com/en_us/tiles/.
