Rated 4 out of 5 by tsunami_soulshifter from Great Product Updating Kitchen and I was looking for a way to add a backsplash minus the headache of adding grout and tile. We have this 80's white tile with black grout and was trying my best to work WITH it. Came across Smart Tiles - ordered 24 tiles, really liked the color options available. When i received the tile, I was a bit surprised how some of the color in the tiles were a bit more reflective, mirror effect but I got used to it after a whole 10 minutes - there is a lot of variety in the color and depth of the tiles. Pretty easy to install, it took me a couple hours. I was able to pull back and adjust the tiles, cut and splice where needed with scissors. Pretty happy with the new look. Keeping fingers crossed that the edges will stay clean and not lift up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mugglemary from Easy to Install, and Gorgeous! I bought these tiles some time ago, as I had to prep the wall after putting Chinese tiles up that wouldn't stay up, but ripped off the undercoat of paint I had put down. TheSmart Tiles worked like a breeze. I installed them in a space that I call my laundry room, that's really a large closet. I recently changed to a washer drier duo, and had a lot of room for shelves and storage above it. The area does get quite humid, and I had a lot of peeling and cracking paint in the area. The walls look stunning and I have ordered different colors for areas in my kitchen and my bathroom. They're easy to work with and look like the real thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy homeowner from "I won't tell...if you can't guess they are not glass!" I purchased this product after a long search. I had very ugly 1970's tile in my kitchen. It covered it easily. No mess removing old tile. I finished the job in one day. It is beautiful. I would recommend this product to any home owner. It has been in my kitchen now for two years. It look the same as the day I put it in. It washes. I have never had to repair or replace anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SuzieQ from Amazing product. I put these tiles in my RV bathroom. They were simple to install and look great and because they are so lightweight, they are prefect for RVs. I liked then so much, I installed them in my kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Beantown Bob from Real Tile look - Easy installation - lower cost Smart Tiles has allowed me to easily install the look of real tile at lower cost. I've always wanted the glass tile look in my bathroom and kitchen. However, the mess and difficulty of working with real tile discouraged me. Dealing with questionable, costly installers was another worry. If it weren't for Smart Tiles I would have stayed with painted walls. This great product has allowed me to get the look I wanted with easy do-it-yourself installation and at reasonable cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Staciawal from Rich finish for reasonable price Our old-fashioned marble gas fireplace surround needed to be replaced and this was unbelievably easy to apply over the marble. So far the heat from the fireplace has not affected the tile adhesive. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ingenuityrocks1 from AWESOME PRODUCT! Granted, I used these Minimo Noche Smart Tiles in an unorthodox (and probably a not recommended) way but the results are phenomenal. I had already used another style of Smart Tiles to update my kitchen (with which I am beyond pleased) and when it came time to update our very out-dated bathroom, I wanted to add some wow! factor and these Minimo Noche Smart Tiles did the trick! I will preface this by saying this was not a "one-two-three, done" project. There was a lot of work involved in sizing the little squares of the Smart Tiles to the size of the 4.25" x 4.25" old tiles that completely surround our tub/shower combination. I prepared each 4.25" x 4.25" tile individually by backing and centering a section of the Smart Tiles (six small tiles by six small tiles) on a 4.25" x 4.25" faux stainless finish adhesive paper and then adhered each composite prepared tile, one at a time. Once done with adhering all the combination tiles on top of the existing tiles, I went back and filled in the grout line gaps between each 4.25" x 4.25" tile with a single row of Smart Tiles squares (6 small tiles wide by 1 tile high). It took a few days to complete and it required a lot of patience (but I'm quite familiar with these types of projects) but, in the end, I am thrilled with the look of our new, finally updated bathroom and there was nary a contractor in site (nor was there a large contractor's bill at the end of the project). The tiles have already been up for close to three months and are holding up beautifully - not one has started to peel or pull up - despite the water and humidity exposure. Determined to update our old and very outdated bathroom (without a $10k-$15k expense), I decided to think outside the box!

Rated 5 out of 5 by hreimer from Something Uniquely Beautiful My husband and I bought this product a few months ago because we are always looking for DIY home projects. We used this product as a backsplash in the kitchen above the stove top. It looks so incredibly beautiful and was so easy to use! We will definitely be buying this product again because we are extremely satisfied with the price, shipping time, ease of use and the unique look it gave to our kitchen!

Does this stick to existing tiles? Would this work for a mobile home?
Hello, thanks for your question and interest in peel and stick Smart Tiles. Yes, you can. The tiles are so lightweight and thin (1/16”) that you can install directly over existing ceramic tiles if the surface is smooth (no texture or bullnose). . A good cleaning and drying prior to installation will be required. Use a good degreaser such as TSP. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions: 1-877-784-2733 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Hello, I love the look of these peel and stick tiles, but I currently rent an apartment. Are these tiles removable? If so, how easy are they to remove and do they cause any damage to the paint on the walls? Thank you!
Hello, thanks for your question and interest in Smart Tiles for the peel and stick backsplash in a rental apartment. The tiles are easy to remove with a blow dryer if you warm up each peel and stick tile long enough to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Remove with little to no damage to the wall depending on the surface the tiles were installed on. If installed on painted wall, when you remove it will damage the paint. Maybe not the entire paint, but some spots for sure. But there is no problem to install over existing tiles, very easy to remove after. Surface has to be smooth and clean. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions.
